TIF Fund Payments

The Allen City Council will consider authorizing payments from the Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone No. 1 Fund during its regular meeting on August 11, 2026. The proposed disbursements include $581,682.81 from the City Tax Increment and $214,536.73 from the County Tax Increment directed to TL GPG Watters Creek Owner, LLC. An additional $17,000 will be allocated to the City of Allen to cover administrative costs and legal expenses.

Tax Rate Hearing Schedule

Council members will establish September 8, 2026, as the official date for a public hearing regarding the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 City Tax Rate. The agenda indicates that the council will also conduct a vote on the proposed rate during this same meeting.
