The Dallas Cowboys are set to commence their 2026 training camp in Oxnard, California, beginning July 27, with fan-accessible practices starting on July 29. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer, now in his second year, will hold a press conference on July 29 with owner Jerry Jones and executive vice president Stephen Jones.

The team will kick off camp with the annual Back Together Saturday event on August 1. Practices will be open to the public until August 18. A significant focus this year will be the defense, which struggled last season, allowing an average of 30 points per game, the worst in the league.

New defensive coordinator Christian Parker is implementing a 3-4 scheme, and reports suggest that up to seven new starters may be featured on defense.

In contrast, the offense remains mostly unchanged after averaging 27.7 points per game in 2025, providing Schottenheimer with a stable group as the revamped defense works to improve. This marks the 20th year that the Cowboys have held their training camp in Oxnard.
