Allen residents can hear the Dallas Hua Yun Chinese Orchestra at a free concert Friday, Oct. 9, at Allen Public Library. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Civic Auditorium at 300 N. Allen Drive.
No ticket or advance registration is required, according to the city’s event listing. The OnStage@APL program features traditional Chinese instruments, including the sheng, pipa and erhu.
There is also an option for residents who cannot attend in person: the library says the concert will be streamed live on ACTV. Viewing options are available through ACTV and the city’s AllenCityTV YouTube channel.
The city’s calendar carries the concert’s current details. Check that listing before heading to the library for any schedule changes.
