Early Offensive Surge

Pitching Duel and Late Runs

Minnesota’s bullpen completed the shutout of the Astros' offense after the sixth inning. Cody Laweryson pitched 0 2/3 innings, Andrew Morris secured the save with 1 1/3 scoreless innings, Taylor Rogers pitched a perfect inning, and Yoendrys Gomez closed out the game with a scoreless frame.
The Twins sealed the victory in the eighth inning when Keaschall hit a 373-foot home run to left-center field. The final score stood at 8-3. The game was played at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas, in front of 29,179 fans. The loss dropped the Astros to 43-46, while the Twins improved to 42-46.
