Allen ISD families can compare classes and get help with long-term academic plans at Course Expo Night on Monday, Oct. 5, at Allen High School.

The event runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and is intended for students in grades 7 through 11 and their parents, according to the district’s Sept. 17 announcement.

Teachers from athletics, world languages, fine arts and career and technical education will be available. Families can also speak with staff working in gifted and talented programs, advanced academics, dual credit and core subjects.

District counselors will help students consider their graduation plans and four-year academic pathways. The gathering gives families a chance to ask questions across several programs during one evening.

Check the district’s announcement before attending for any updates. It identifies Allen High School as the venue but does not specify an entrance or room.
