Universal Kids has officially opened its doors in Frisco, marking the completion of a long-awaited development in the area. The park, situated just off the Dallas North Tollway in North Frisco, is now accepting visitors as it prepares for a busy holiday weekend. Frisco is about 9 miles west of Allen.

Ticket sales are currently underway, with adult admission starting at $55. A two-day pass is available for $74. The operator also offers annual memberships, VIP experiences, and discounted rates for larger groups. Parking fees are set at $20 for regular spots and $30 for premium locations. Guests utilizing NTTA Toll Tags can pay for parking directly at the toll plaza to expedite entry.

Demand for the opening weekend was high. As of Tuesday, tickets for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, July 4, were sold out. Limited availability remained for Friday and Sunday at the time of reporting. The resort is owned by NBC Universal, the parent company of NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth.

A 300-room hotel is located at the park entrance, featuring themed accommodations, dining options, and a pool. The first guests checked in on Tuesday night. Those staying at the on-site hotel receive early admission privileges. The park typically operates from 10 a.m. to 7 or 8 p.m., with hours varying by day.

Park officials have advised visitors to stay hydrated and utilize shaded areas and indoor air conditioning given the summer heat. Local residents have expressed enthusiasm for the new attraction. Jerry Li of Celina noted that he had watched the construction progress from its early stages and was excited to see the project reach completion.

Further details regarding specific ride lineups or long-term operational schedules are not yet clear.
