Customers seeking baked goods from a Frisco-based business known as Little Bit Bakery often find that arriving late results in empty hands. The operation, which runs out of a front porch, has drawn such consistent demand that patrons routinely arrive around 6 a.m. to secure items before they are sold out.
Delilah Navarette, a first-time visitor, admitted she was unaware of the early arrival time required. She noted that she and others were concerned they might miss out entirely. Repeat customer Dana Eagle, who visited on a recent Saturday, said the early wake-up is justified by the quality of the products. Eagle described the baked goods as phenomenal and expressed strong support for the business.
The menu rotates weekly but typically features fresh sourdough loaves, English muffins, cinnamon rolls, and oatmeal cream pies. Henson, the owner, attributes the ability to meet this high demand to recent equipment upgrades. She stated that acquiring a dedicated bread oven was a significant turning point for the business, enabling her to produce larger quantities of product.
On a typical Saturday, Henson bakes approximately 85 loaves of sourdough and nearly 100 English muffins, along with other items. The business began during the pandemic when Henson started decorating custom cakes from her home. She expanded operations last September by introducing a rolling bakery cart to her porch, a move that quickly established a dedicated customer base.
For many patrons, the appeal extends beyond the food itself. Navarette described the community of customers as supportive, likening their relationship to that of a family. Frisco is located about 9 miles west of Allen.
