Sophomore quarterback Ty Snell directed multiple scoring drives for Allen, complementing a defensive effort that held the Panthers in check. The team added two scores in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Allen is scheduled to face DeSoto on Friday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. CT.
Waxahachie remains at the top of the rankings with a 1-0 record after a dominant 72-14 win over Ennis. Junior quarterback Jerry Meyer III threw for 400 yards and six touchdowns, including seven connections with Jashawn Crayton for 187 yards and three scores. Waxahachie plays Coppell on Friday, Sept. 4.

North Shore defeated Lancaster 35-0 behind a powerful rushing attack that gained 287 yards. North Crowley shut out Aledo 26-0, limiting the opponent to negative seven rushing yards.
C.E. King posted a 70-10 victory over Conroe, with Khylan Davis throwing for 272 yards and three touchdowns while the team rushed for 327 yards. Randle secured a win in its championship rematch against South Oak Cliff, led by five-star running back commit Landen Williams-Callis, who carried the ball 33 times for 230 yards.
