Allen High School’s Eagle Stadium is preparing to host the opening game of the 2026 Texas high school football season when it welcomes No. 16-ranked Duncanville on Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. CT.
The venue, which cost $60 million to construct in 2013, represents an inflation-adjusted value of approximately $80 million today. It stands as one of the most expensive high school football facilities in the state and the nation.
Eagle Stadium accommodates 18,000 spectators. The seating arrangement includes 9,000 seats on the home side grandstands, 5,000 on the visitor side, and 4,000 in the endzone opposite the scoreboard. While most seats are standard bleachers, 6,500 backless seats can be reserved.
A prominent feature of the stadium is its massive high-definition scoreboard, measuring 75 feet wide by 45 feet tall. The display provides live game statistics, replays, and graphics throughout the event.
The facility also includes a three-level press box spanning 15,356 square feet with an elevator connecting the levels. The first level houses coaching booths for both teams and radio broadcast rooms with telephone lines. Video production occurs on the top level, known as the Film Deck.
