North Crowley holds the third spot, also carrying a perfect record. Cherry Creek and Valor Christian from Colorado complete the regional standings. Oklahoma is represented in the top tier by Bixby, Wynnewood, and Carl Albert, who are also undefeated.
Allen improved to 3-0 with a 56-35 victory over Southlake Carroll. Ty Snell passed for 305 yards and three touchdowns, while Jrue Simmons contributed 151 rushing yards and two scores. The Eagles face Prosper on Thursday, Sept. 17.
Waxahachie secured its third win with a 44-30 victory against Guyer. Taylen Strenge rushed for 192 yards and three touchdowns to lead the offense. The Wildcats are scheduled to play Lake Ridge on Friday, Sept. 18.
North Crowley defeated Summer Creek 41-20 after trailing early in the game. The team scored 27 points between the second and third quarters to pull away from the Bulldogs. North Crowley will visit Duncanville on Friday, Sept. 18.
North Shore rounds out the undefeated Texas teams at number four with a 23-21 win over South Oak Cliff. Javoris Taylor threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with La'Damian Defreeze for the scores. The Mustangs run the ball effectively, accumulating 227 yards on 43 carries.
Bixby remains unbeaten at number five after a 13-6 defensive battle against Jenks. Isaiah Butcher IV rushed for 198 yards to support the Spartans' defense. Bixby travels to Mustang on Friday, Sept. 25.
