The United Athletic Conference has designated the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen as the host site for its men's and women's basketball tournaments. The agreement covers the next three championship seasons, beginning with the 2026-27 academic year. The first event under this arrangement is scheduled for March 10-14, 2027.

Jeff Bacon, Chief Executive Officer of Unisun Sports, stated that the organization prioritized providing a high-quality experience for student-athletes, coaches, and fans. He noted that Allen is viewed as a significant destination within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and supports the conference's forward-looking goals.

The venue is a facility with over 7,000 seats that hosts more than 100 events annually. According to the source, these events generate a $13 million economic impact for the local community. The center is also home to the Allen Americans, an ECHL hockey team, and has previously hosted concerts, trade shows, and large conventions.

Allen Mayor Chris Schulmeister expressed gratitude for the selection, attributing it to the community's ongoing investment in facilities. He described the choice as a reflection of years of planning and the city's ability to accommodate events of this scale.

Brandy O’Keefe, Director of Visit Allen, Texas, emphasized that the venue was constructed to support championship-level competitions. She highlighted the importance of providing a setting that matches the significance of the conference championship moment for the athletes.

A new tournament logo designed by Joe Bosack & Co. incorporates a horseshoe symbol to represent the state of Texas and the conference's resilience. The design also features silver elements to reflect the conference's mission to forge ahead in college athletics. The UAC basketball membership includes Abilene Christian, Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, EKU, Little Rock, North Alabama, Tarleton State, UT Arlington, and West Georgia.

Bracket and broadcast details will be released later.
