The University of North Texas men's basketball team is scheduled to participate in the Snake River Invitational, a four-team tournament held at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls from November 27 to 29. This event is significant for the team as it features three opponents that have all competed in the NCAA Tournament recently.
Head coach Daniyal Robinson expressed his excitement, noting that the tournament aligns with the team's goals and will provide a postseason-like atmosphere. North Texas will begin the tournament against North Dakota State, marking their first-ever matchup. Following that, they will face Boise State, continuing a rivalry that has seen ten previous meetings.
The Mean Green will conclude the tournament against Drake, which will be their 37th encounter.
