The State Fair of Texas will commence its 2026 season on September 25 at Fair Park, showcasing a rich lineup of musical performances over 24 days. This year's theme is "Stars, Stripes and Howdies."
The Chevrolet Main Stage will host a range of genres, including country, rock, R&B, Norteño, and pop. Clint Black is set to open the concert series, with additional performances from artists such as Bowling for Soup, Lee Brice, Kansas, and Queensrÿche. Other acts include RaeLynn, Gym Class Heroes, 3OH!3, and The Toadies.
Multiple stages will feature live music, including the Bud Light Stage near Cotton Bowl Stadium for local talent and the White Claw Spotlight Stage at the Grove for artists from the Dallas Music Office. A new ZiegenBock Stage will be introduced at the renovated Old Mill Inn, enhancing the fair's musical offerings alongside food and drinks.
Ken Ebo, a retired U.S. Marine and Senior Lecturer of Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas, has been named the 2026 Resident Artist. Season passes for the fair are currently available, with further details to be released as the event nears. The fair will run from September 25 through October 18, 2026.
