Traffic on northbound U.S. Highway 75 was restricted to a single lane early Wednesday morning following a vehicle collision in Allen. The incident occurred at the Stacy Road interchange, causing significant disruptions for commuters.

The Texas Department of Transportation identified the crash at 5:36 a.m. According to agency traffic cameras, an overturned vehicle was visible on the grass median. While the left lane and the shoulder remain open for travel, all other lanes, including the exit ramp, were closed to traffic.

The blockage resulted in substantial delays, with traffic queues extending back to McDermott Drive. Motorists were advised by the Texas Department of Transportation to seek alternate routes to avoid further congestion until the scene is cleared.

Officials from the Collin County Sheriff's Office and the Allen Police Department have not yet provided comments regarding the specifics of the crash or the condition of those involved. It is not yet clear how the accident occurred or when the highway will fully reopen.

This is a developing story. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
