The Dallas Cowboys have officially signed Von Miller to a one-year contract, as announced by the player on his Instagram account. Miller, who is the NFL's active leader in career sacks with 138.5, expressed his enthusiasm with the message, "Hereee Weee Gooo."
A DeSoto, Texas native, Miller has strong connections to the region, having played college football at Texas A&M. He enters his 15th NFL season after a year with the Washington Commanders, where he recorded 26 tackles and nine sacks over 17 games.
Miller is a two-time Super Bowl champion, having won titles with the Denver Broncos in 2015 and the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. Drafted second overall by the Broncos in 2011, he has also played for the Buffalo Bills. In addition to his impressive sack total, Miller has achieved 607 tackles, 271 quarterback hits, and 27 forced fumbles in 203 games.
His accolades include eight Pro Bowl selections and three First Team All-Pro honors. The Cowboys will kick off their 2026 regular season on September 13 against the New York Giants in a Sunday Night Football matchup.
