Trevon Diggs has officially joined the Seattle Seahawks on a one-year contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This move comes shortly after the Seahawks signed Terrion Arnold, who is currently facing serious legal challenges in Florida.

At 27, Diggs has made a name for himself in the NFL, recording a total of 20 interceptions and defending 63 passes. He is expected to compete for a role in the Seahawks' secondary, which is currently facing injury challenges.

In July 2023, Diggs had signed a five-year contract extension worth $97 million with the Dallas Cowboys. However, he participated in just 22 out of 51 regular-season games over the following three seasons. His departure from the Cowboys followed a series of incidents, including an unusual home accident where he reported that a television fell on him, resulting in a lengthy absence in 2025.

The Cowboys waived Diggs after he requested to stay in the Washington, D.C. area with his family following a Christmas Day game, a request that was denied by the team. Shortly after his release, he was claimed off waivers by the Green Bay Packers. Further information regarding Diggs' role with the Seahawks has yet to be revealed.
