Baylor and Louisiana Tech will each make a change at quarterback Saturday, with Nate Bennett set to start for the Bears and Trey Kukuk taking the opening assignment for the Bulldogs.
Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway is out with an ankle injury. The transfer from Florida was hurt in the Bears’ season-opening loss to Auburn and also missed last week’s game against Prairie View A&M after being listed as doubtful for the Louisiana Tech matchup.
Bennett threw for 314 yards and accounted for four touchdowns against Prairie View A&M, while also having two interceptions. Louisiana Tech starter Blake Baker is unavailable because of a hand injury, according to the update reported by ESPN.com.
