Brevyn Spann-Ford has agreed to a three-year extension with the Dallas Cowboys that could pay him $18 million, including $12.075 million guaranteed. The contract keeps the tight end under contract through 2029. Spann-Ford joined Dallas as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and competed with Luke Schoonmaker for opportunities behind Jake Ferguson last season.
Ryan Flournoy also received an extension, a one-season agreement worth up to $6 million that runs through 2027. The receiver had 40 catches, 475 receiving yards and four touchdowns during the 2025 season.
The source reported that he is expected to become the Cowboys’ established No. 3 receiver and could help maintain continuity among the team’s top receivers if George Pickens leaves after the current season.
Flournoy’s size and athletic ability allow him to play all three receiver spots in Dallas’ 11-personnel formations, according to the report. Together, the contracts commit the Cowboys to as much as $24 million before either player has completed a breakout season, and both deals extend beyond 2026.
The agreements differ from the team’s earlier practice of waiting for players to establish themselves, as seen with previous extensions for Terence Steele, Jaylon Smith, Dak Prescott, Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland.
