DeMarvion Overshown could be absent for the Dallas Cowboys' next two games as a hamstring injury affects his availability. The starting inside linebacker is expected to miss Sunday's matchup with the Washington Commanders and could also sit out the Cowboys' Week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Coach Brian Schottenheimer said the 26-year-old might need one or two weeks away from action after he was hurt in Dallas' loss to the New York Giants last Sunday. Overshown's status for the Ravens game will depend on whether the injury continues to prevent him from practicing.

CBS Sports reported that Overshown will not play against Washington. The report did not include additional information about his recovery.
