The Cowboys are expected to be without safety Jalen Thompson for at least four weeks, executive vice president Stephen Jones said Monday. Dallas has not said whether Thompson will be placed on injured reserve, although he is considered a possible candidate for the list.
Thompson left during the second quarter of the Cowboys' 34-31 loss to the Ravens in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday. His injury adds to Dallas' absences at safety. Malik Hooker has missed the past two games with a forearm injury, while P.J. Locke went on injured reserve Saturday because of a foot injury.
Thompson had played every defensive snap through Dallas' first nine-plus quarters of the season before the injury. He had recorded 17 tackles during that span.
