Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue did not take part in a joint practice with the New Orleans Saints due to a shoulder injury. This information was reported by Patrik Walker from the Cowboys' official site.

In the Cowboys' recent preseason opener, Blue had 10 touches and accumulated 34 yards. He is vying for the backup running back role behind Javonte Williams and is anticipated to see considerable playing time throughout the preseason. Should Blue's injury prevent him from playing in the next match against the Arizona Cardinals, Malik Davis could step in to claim the RB2 position.

Further information regarding the extent of Blue's injury has yet to be disclosed.
