The Dallas Cowboys have brought back quarterback Joe Milton III to their practice squad after he was initially released to make room for running back Emari Demercado. Dak Prescott, the Cowboys' star quarterback, expressed his enthusiasm for Milton's return, noting the positive influence he has on the team's quarterback room. Milton, a sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2024, was traded to the Cowboys before the 2025 season. His preseason performance demonstrated significant improvement, completing 29 of 43 passes for 378 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.
