As the 2026 NFL season approaches, the Dallas Cowboys are preparing with a mostly healthy roster. The team has been fortunate to avoid significant injuries during the offseason, and they hope this trend continues.
Currently, two players on the active roster are facing injuries. Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard is dealing with an abs/groin issue. Reports indicate he was seen participating in rehab activities on September 1, suggesting a possibility for him to play in the season opener, though he may require more time for full recovery.
Guard Ajani Cornelius, who has shown potential during training camp, is also recovering from an injury. He missed practice on September 2 but was observed doing rehab work the day before, indicating he might be ready for Week 1, depending on his healing process.
Additionally, linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore have been placed on injured reserve. Liufau sustained a fractured forearm during the preseason finale, necessitating surgery, while Moore is contending with a hip injury after previously experiencing groin problems. Given Moore's injury history, his contributions this season remain uncertain.
Further updates on Bullard and Cornelius are anticipated as the week progresses, while Liufau and Moore are expected to be out for a minimum of four weeks.
