The Dallas Cowboys will have Curtis Robinson and Justin Barron available for their Week 2 game against the Washington Commanders after elevating both players from the practice squad. Dallas has not set a return timetable and opted not to sign a veteran for the game.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Friday that rookie Jaishawn Barham will use the green-dot helmet while Overshown is unavailable. Blogging The Boys reported that Dallas’ linebackers and safeties will be tested by quarterback Jayden Daniels and Washington’s offense, with the defense’s interior play identified as an area to watch.
Von Miller, who spent the 2025 season with Washington, played 11 snaps in his Dallas debut against New York and could also receive attention.
Overshown was one of three Cowboys fined after the 20-28 Week 1 loss to the New York Giants. The NFL assessed him $9,527 for a late hit involving quarterback Jaxson Dart. Donovan Ezeiruaku was fined $11,941 for a fourth-quarter facemask, and Javonte Williams received an $11,941 penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct involving taunting.
