Houston Texans linebacker Henry To’oTo’o is expected to miss time after a shoulder injury in the team’s 36-31 defeat against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. He departed during the fourth quarter and did not return while the result remained undecided. Coach DeMeco Ryans announced the injury update on Sept. 14.
To’oTo’o made two tackles before leaving. He finished the 2025 season with 95 total tackles, after surpassing 100 tackles in 2024. The Texans did not provide further information about the injury.
The situation adds uncertainty to Houston’s linebacker depth. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap wrote on X that the development was not surprising because To’oTo’o had been seen wearing a sling. Garret Williams, who posts as Houston Stressans, identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as possible choices, though Hansen was also injured during the game. The report was based on information from heavy.com.
