The Dallas Cowboys will be without linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, safeties P.J. Locke and Malik Hooker, and cornerback Cobie Durant for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil. All four missed every practice this week and did not make the trip. Three of the absences are starters. Locke is the team’s third safety and a primary reserve.
Baltimore’s offense includes quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry. Dallas entered the game with a defense ranked 29th among the NFL’s 32 teams through the first two games of this season, after finishing among the league’s bottom three in total defense in 2025.
Stephen Jones, the Cowboys’ executive vice president, said Overshown and Hooker might be available for Week 4 at the Houston Texans. Overshown has a hamstring strain, and Hooker is coming back from a fractured forearm. Both injuries happened in the season opener against the Giants, and both players missed Dallas’ Week 2 win over Washington.
Overshown calls the defensive signals. Neither player has been cleared, and the source did not indicate that either is likely to return. Durant has a hamstring injury, while Locke has a foot injury, and neither is expected to be ready for Houston.
