TCU expects wide receiver Jordan Dwyer to return from a foot injury for its Big 12 opener against UCF on Sept. 26. His availability remains unconfirmed, though coach Sonny Dykes provided the update after TCU’s 31-7 victory over Arkansas State and said the receiver’s return would help the team.
Dwyer, who transferred to TCU from Idaho, was among the Horned Frogs’ top offensive contributors in 2025. He started all of the team’s regular-season games and recorded 54 receptions, 730 yards and seven touchdowns. In his first game for TCU, against North Carolina, Dwyer caught nine passes for 136 yards and a touchdown.
With Dwyer sidelined, Ed Small has taken on a larger role among the team’s leading receivers. Tight end Kari Ashley also contributed against Arkansas State, giving quarterback Jaden Craig multiple passing options during TCU’s opening games.
TCU enters conference play with a 2-1 record.
