Jake Hummel has been moved to injured reserve by the Texans after a groin injury in the team's Week 1 loss to the Bills. Because of the roster designation, he cannot return to the active roster until he has missed at least four games.
Hummel has remained out of practice since the injury. Jake Hansen is expected to keep starting at linebacker alongside Azeez Al-Shaair and Aiden Fisher during Hummel's absence.
