Nico Collins' status for the Houston Texans' Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals remains unresolved after a hamstring injury kept him out of consecutive practices. The 27-year-old receiver was injured during Wednesday's workout and did not participate Thursday or Friday.
Adam Schefter reported that Houston doctors did not view the injury as serious. Ian Rapoport made a similar assessment Friday on *The Pat McAfee Show*, while noting that missing two practices reduced Collins' chances of playing. Collins' official game status has not been determined.
Collins began the 2026 season with 75 receiving yards, seven catches and a touchdown on 10 targets in Houston's 36-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He had surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in each of the three seasons before this one. ClutchPoints.com reported that Collins could potentially return for Houston's Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 27 if he cannot play against Cincinnati.
