The Cowboys will be without four players when they face the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro, as injuries prompt several changes to Dallas’ roster. Safety P.J. Locke is headed to injured reserve because of the foot injury he sustained against Washington, a move that keeps him out for a minimum of four additional weeks.
Safety Malik Hooker also remains unavailable while recovering from a fractured forearm.
Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant were ruled out with hamstring injuries. Durant, who had been starting, was hurt during Dallas’ Week 2 win over Washington. Linebackers Jaishawn Barham and Dee Winters also sustained injuries in that game but finished playing it.
Barron has been added to the 53-player roster after previously appearing under a temporary practice-squad elevation. His promotion provides depth at linebacker with Overshown sidelined. Dallas also elevated cornerback Reddy Steward for the Ravens game.
Steward handled substantial defensive work for the Cowboys in 2025, primarily as a nickel cornerback and at times as a safety. The two-position option adds to a secondary that includes safeties Jalen Thompson, Caleb Downs, Markquese Bell and Alijah Clark. The Cowboys’ official website reported the roster updates.
