Dominic Canzone delivered the decisive blow in the seventh inning, launching a 400-foot home run to right field that drove in three runs. The blast gave the Seattle Mariners a 4-3 lead, a margin that would hold until the final out.
Canzone added insurance later in the game, doubling to right field in the ninth inning to score Julio Rodríguez and push the final margin to 6-4.
Rangers Rally Late
The Texas Rangers mounted a comeback attempt in the eighth inning. Leody Taveras homered to left field, measuring 420 feet, to cut the deficit to 5-4. However, the Mariners’ bullpen held firm in the top of the ninth, preventing Texas from tying or taking the lead.

The Mariners extended their lead in the fourth inning when Nathaniel Lowe singled to right, scoring Marcus Semien, and later in the same inning, Corey Seager reached on an infield single to second, scoring Lowe.
