ALLEN, Texas — Thousands of residents and visitors gathered at Celebration Park on Saturday evening for H-E-B Allen USA, the city's largest free summer celebration, capping off a night of live music, food and community spirit with a spectacular fireworks display.
Now in its fourth decade, the annual event has become a cornerstone of summer in Collin County. This year's lineup featured opening act Endless Summer, an acclaimed Beach Boys tribute band, followed by headliner Music City Queens, a high-energy Top 40 party band that kept the crowd dancing as dusk settled over the park.
The evening began with a dramatic skydiving performance by the Blue Skies Parachute Team shortly after gates opened at 5 p.m., setting an energetic tone for the hours ahead. More than a dozen food trucks lined the park, offering everything from classic fair favorites to gourmet street food, with sales continuing until 9:30 p.m.
