ALLEN, Texas — Thousands gathered at Celebration Park on Saturday evening for Allen USA, the city’s signature summer celebration and one of the largest free fireworks displays in North Texas.

The event, which has been a community tradition for more than 30 years, featured a full evening of entertainment. Gates opened at 5 p.m., with food truck sales beginning at 6 p.m. from more than two dozen vendors.

The Blue Skies Parachute Team delivered a skydiving performance at 6:15 p.m., followed by live music from Endless Summer, an America’s Beach Boys Experience tribute, and headliner Music City Queens. The fireworks finale launched at 9:30 p.m.

Admission was free, with no tickets or registration required. The city provided a complimentary shuttle service from Allen High School throughout the evening, along with park-and-walk options at Story and Olson elementary schools.

Allen USA is made possible by community sponsors including H-E-B, Credit Union of Texas, the Allen Community Development Corporation, NETSCOUT, and more than a dozen other local businesses. The event’s fireworks display has been a fixture of Collin County summers since 1995.

Minors under 18 were required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and pets were strongly discouraged due to crowds, heat, and fireworks noise. Entry gates switched to exit-only at 9:30 p.m. as the fireworks began.
