Guests headed to Allen en Blanc on Thursday will not find out where they are going until the Allen Parks Foundation tells them.

The foundation's yearly fundraiser runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 8. As in past years, the site is kept under wraps and shared with ticket holders the week before, so the foundation is asking buyers to double-check the email and contact details they enter at checkout.

A lighter format this year

The foundation says it has changed the evening slightly for 2026. There is no full sit-down dinner. Instead, a chef will serve hors d'oeuvres through the night, which the foundation says suits this year's setting better. Guests also no longer need to bring their own table decorations or place settings, a past tradition of the event.

The dress code stays the same. This year's theme is "A Night in Black and White," and attendees are asked to wear all white or a black-and-white combination.

A $75 ticket covers admission, drink tickets, the food, entertainment and auction items, according to the foundation. Armor Brewery is sponsoring specialty beers. The city's community calendar lists the event for adults.

Where the money goes

All proceeds go to the Allen Parks Foundation, which supports the city's parks and trails. Tickets and sponsorships are sold on the foundation's website, allenparksfoundation.org.

The evening is one of several fall events on Allen's calendar this month. The city's Fall Fest follows on Saturday morning on St. Mary Drive, and Allen Contemporary Theatre's production of *The Book of Will* runs through Oct. 18.
