In the latest U.S. News & World Report's Best Companies to Work For list, 48 employers from the Dallas-Fort Worth area were recognized, with Dallas itself claiming 24 of these spots. This edition evaluated approximately 3,900 companies across 14 industries, focusing on factors such as pay quality, work-life balance, job stability, and opportunities for professional development.
The companies from Dallas include prominent names like Texas Instruments, Southwest Airlines, and the American Heart Association. Irving follows with 13 honorees, including Kimberly-Clark and Caterpillar. Plano has five recognized companies, while Fort Worth is home to two, Farmer Brothers and Pier 1 Imports. Additionally, four companies from other parts of the metroplex were included.
For residents of Allen, located about 23 miles north of Dallas, this news highlights the strength and diversity of the regional job market, showcasing a range of industries from semiconductors to hospitality. The presence of these well-regarded employers indicates a robust employment landscape as the area moves into the latter half of 2026.
