Noah Brown has officially signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, as announced by the team. This addition to the Raiders' receiving group required the release of defensive tackle Benito Jones to make room on the roster.
Brown's NFL career has faced challenges, including injuries that caused him to miss 19 games during his two years with the Washington Commanders. When healthy, he demonstrated his skills, achieving 40 catches for 536 yards and one touchdown, with an average of 13.4 yards per reception.
Selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, Brown earned a reputation for his reliability and versatility. In the 2022 season, he recorded 43 receptions for 555 yards and three touchdowns, contributing significantly to quarterback Dak Prescott's offense.
After his time in Dallas, Brown moved to the Houston Texans, where he had a successful season with 33 receptions totaling 567 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 17.2 yards per catch. Throughout his career, he has tallied 155 receptions for 2,083 yards and six touchdowns.
The Raiders do not expect Brown to be the main focus of their offense, but his size and experience may provide essential support to their receiving lineup. This signing offers Brown a new chance to advance his career in the NFL after dealing with injuries in Washington.
