Oziyah Sellers is now enrolled at SMU and practicing with the men’s basketball team, though his eligibility for competition has not been decided. The school has not provided a timeline for that ruling.
Sellers started all 36 of his games for St. John’s in 2025-26, averaging 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists. The Red Storm went 30-7 and won the Big East championship. Before that, he played at Stanford in 2024-25, starting every game and averaging 13.7 points per game in the ACC.
The fifth-year guard spent his first two college seasons at USC under SMU coach Andy Enfield. Sellers has connected on 37.8% of his career three-point attempts, including 42.9% as a USC sophomore, and has made 86.9% of his free throws. SMU is entering Enfield’s third season and the 2026-27 campaign with a transfer class ranked No. 21 nationally by On3.
