Texas sets the final line
Texas Rangers beat San Francisco Giants 6-0 Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, in front of 26,098. Cody Bradford gave Texas 4 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out five.
Tyler Alexander was credited with the win (2-2) after 1 2/3 innings with no hits, no earned runs, no walks and three strikeouts. Robby Ahlstrom allowed one hit with no earned runs, no walks and one strikeout in one inning.
Chase Silseth allowed one hit and one walk with no earned runs and one strikeout in one inning, and Cole Winn allowed one hit with no earned runs, no walks and no strikeouts in one inning.
Four-run third opens it
Texas took control in the third inning with four runs. Nimmo singled to right, scoring Langford for a 1-0 lead. Foscue followed with a triple to left that brought in Nimmo and Burger, making it 3-0.
Díaz added another run in the same inning with a double to left, scoring Foscue and pushing Texas ahead 4-0. Those three scoring plays accounted for the Rangers’ first four runs.
