The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has designated Alejandro Villegas, a 32-year-old sex offender from Fort Worth, as the Featured Fugitive for July 2026. This announcement comes with an increased reward of $6,000 for information leading to his capture, applicable for tips received this month.
Villegas has been wanted since January 2026 due to a probation violation linked to an original charge of sexual assault of a child. His criminal history includes a 2022 arrest by the Grand Prairie Police Department for a sexual assault incident involving a 16-year-old girl.
Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds, Villegas has connections to Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas. The DPS urges anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to reach out through one of three methods: calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submitting a web tip via the DPS website, or using the Facebook tip submission link.
The increased reward and the focus on Villegas aim to encourage community members to assist law enforcement in apprehending him. Further details about his case or any developments have not yet been released.
