Statewide veterans hiring fair series stops at 777 Watters Creek Blvd. on Nov. 19

Veterans looking for work will have a hiring fair close to home this month. Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas is scheduled to hold a Hiring Red, White & You! event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at 777 Watters Creek Blvd. in Allen, according to the Texas Workforce Commission's 2026 event list.

Hiring Red, White & You! is a yearly statewide run of job fairs that the commission and local workforce boards organize around Veterans Day. The commission says the program has worked with more than 28,981 employers since it began in 2012, connected more than 167,865 job seekers with openings and helped produce more than 4,129 hires made on the spot.

What the listing shows

The Allen entry carries separate registration links for job seekers and for employers. It does not yet list any participating employers. The contact for the event is Jennifer Hartmann, special projects manager for the North Central Texas board, at 817-458-4763.

Other dates in the series

The Allen fair is one of 29 events on the commission's 2026 list, which runs from Nov. 3 through Nov. 19. Among them:

• Tuesday, Nov. 3: Workforce Solutions Gulf Coast at Reliant Center in Houston
• Wednesday, Nov. 4: Workforce Solutions of Central Texas at Fort Hood, and Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas at Gilley's Dallas
• Thursday, Nov. 5: nine fairs, including Bryan, Austin and Corpus Christi
• Tuesday, Nov. 17: McAllen Convention Center
• Wednesday, Nov. 18: Waco's Extraco Events Center
• Thursday, Nov. 19: Allen and three other sites, including Wichita Falls

Times differ by location, and some events list employers that have already signed up. The Dallas fair names the City of Dallas, Dallas County and Plastipak.

Job seekers can register through the link on the commission's Hiring Red, White & You! page. Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
